George Washington Foster lived in the Bartlesville, Oklahoma area and died of senality instead of being murdered in 1931. His body was sent by train to Manchester, Oklahoma and was buried by his wife, Emeline in the Manchester Cemetery. He had been living with his son, James Albert Foster at the time of his death.

While Mr. Foster lived in Baldwin, Michigan, he was born in Virginia. The World War I Draft Registration Cards show that he registered in Duval, Florida. Mr. Foster was born on Septemer 21, 1894. His death certificate shows no record of any information on his parents. He was a quiet, strong man who loved his home in Mountain City, Tennessee. He died in a Veteran's home in North Carolina and is buried at Mountain Home in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Virginia Foster taught me the importance of loving family. We would sit on the porch of her home and she would tell long, beautiful stories about the family. She taught me about uncondidtional love. You could always tell she was happy especially when she was telling stories of her life with Mr. Foster (she always called him that)--they really had a love affair. Aunt Virginia loved life and was very giving to everybody. Aunt Virginia was born on February 3, 1910. Aunt Virginia died on October 25, 1995. She is also buried at Mountain Home in Johnson City, Tennessee. Virginia Foster was the daughter of Monroe and Lena Johnson of Jonesborough, Tennessee.
Unfortunately, they had no children but Aunt Virginia gave love to every member of her family.

Thomas was the son of Austin and Johanna (Farrell) Callahan. He was born in County Cork Ireland and came to the United States in 1855 aboard the Andrew Foster with his mother and younger brother Michael. The family eventually settled in wisconsin and he married Mary McLaughlin after serving in the Civil War. His parents went on to have his sister Mary Callahan in about 1857 and another brother Richard in about 1859. He and his wife Mary had 13 children as well as raising a grandaughter Rose Laura McGarry (McGrary) when she lost her parents. The family lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. His brother Michael stayed in Wisconsin and worked the family farm in Green Lake County. He had 3 daughters: Ethel, Jennie and Myrtle.
