Theophilus BROWN was born in the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii) about 1866. His father, Robert BROWN, was born in Connecticut about 1810. Margaret was born Aug, 1869 in England. Margaret's brother was Thomas Henry CROSBY, born about 1856 in England. Margaret and Thomas came to the Washington Territory of the United States in the mid 1880s, as both can be found in the 1887 territorial census. Their mother, Margaret (maiden name SUTTON) was with them at the time.
